It's Johanna. I think that as long as you use your common sense and go with your instinct you will be fine. I mean, if you don't feel right about someone, just go with that feeling.  It is amazing, but you'd be surprised how much your gut feelings are right about people. Just be careful, don't give away too much about yourself.

I used to put a lot of things out there on the internet, my picture, email, msn, etc...and as of yet I have had no problems.  I generally don't accept friends requests from men and people who do not have a picture.  I trust my instincts.  I have only come across one "sister" who was actually a guy online, but I didn't fall for it.

Yeah guys be careful. Always give out the email that doesn't have private data such as bills etc. just make an email dedicated for social reasons such as fb etc then you will be fine. My friend hacks emails computers cellphones and he is only 17 . It is called java stuff , dude at my high school, I was sitting by him and we were doing class work on computers, and I look at his computer and he is typing codes and then he finished after 5 minutes and then got on the other classmat's user from his computer . It was freakin me out!!! especially this is school where lots of stuff are disabled but idk how he did it!!
