Salam Walikum
I'm still new in malaysia, i have been here for about 6 months n i have no come across a single shia, i i'm begaining to wonder if dese ppl here do mourn imam hussian's sahadat or not!
I have searched the web but no help from der. I would be very greatful to that brother or sister who could tell me a plc wer i could go whether the lecture is in english urdu arabic or malay it doesnt matter, i want 2 go so i can offer salat n 10th muharram's "amal",1st two muharram days have past n still no luck in finding an imambargah.

Assalamualaikum...I am a Malaysian Chinese converted Muslim since 1999. I just came back from Dubai recently and I am currently staying in Sabah State....My husband is a Pakistani Punjabi Syed Naqvi belongs to Imam Ali An Naqi a.s. We have tried very hard to find an Imam Bargah in Malaysia but in vain. Malaysia is a sunni dominated Muslim country and for your information if the Muslim authorities of the Muslim council found out that you are a Shia you will be charged in the shariah court and can be sentenced to jail term. So it is a proper way to practice taqiyah in Malaysia for your safety. For Shia centre in Malaysia you can try this address.
