btw i wanted to mention a friend of mine who is muhajabah got a wedding dress from a jewish tailor b/c orthodox jews have some of the same undersatnding about modesty that we do. so you could try that.

but many wedding dresses here are also long sleeved long dresses, so you could probably have a tailor alter it to be more "modest" if you want to wear an american style dress

i want to see pictures now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good idea, this website is really good for modern yet modest wedding dresses that can be turned into something a bit more special when you are able to take ur hijaab off.

They also have some excellent bridesmaid dresses.

Not that I have put too much thought into it... I certainly haven't already chosen mine!

If you're planning on taking it off at some point, by the way, or if you're not going to wear it for a long period of time and would rather a nice hairstyle underneath, I've seen sisters wear hoods instead of hijabs. Closing it at the chin, of course, if there are men around or between the car and the wedding area. No idea where you could find those, but who knows?

Congratulations by the way, and may you always be happy together Posted Image
