Special salawat for Imam Mehdi (atfs):

I found this special salawat for Imam Mehdi (atfs) on ziaraat.org. I am gonna try and memorize it even though its a little long and I encourage EVERYONE to memorize this just like how you all have memorized ayatul Kursi. Read this salawat as often as you can.

Let us all pray every day and I'am sure That the Imam mahdi will come It could be sooner Then we think or further, but I know that the faithful Muslims live to the end at his time or arise from the grave.

Surah Bani-Isra’il (Children on Israel)
There are 111 verses in this ‘makki’ Surah. The Holy Prophet (S) has said that a great reward will be accorded to those who recite this Surah and when they reach the verse about parents, they feel a sense of love and gentleness towards their parents.
It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) that whoever recites Surah Bani-Isra’il every Thursday night, will not die before meeting Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.) and will be counted among his companions. Also, if a child is not able to speak or is delaying in his learning how to speak, he should be given the water of this Surah that has been written with saffron.
In the commentary of Safi it is written that the Holy Prophet (S) told Imam Ali (a.s.) that the last two verses of this Surah are a protection and safety from theft. This Surah is also called Surah al-Isra’.

قَالَ الإِمَامُ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّادِقُ : مَنْ قَالَ بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ وَ بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ: أَللٌّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلـى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ لَمْ يَمُتْ حَـتَّـى يُدْرِكَ الْقَائِمَ مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمِ.

Imam Ja’far ibn Muhammad as-Sadiq (peace be upon both of them) has said: “A person who says:

أَللٌّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلـى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ.

‘O Allah! Send your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and hasten their succor.’

after his Salatul Fajr and Salatul Zuhr will not die until he sees al-Qa’im from the family of Muhammad, peace be upon them all.”
