Surely We have given you(Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him ) Kausar,

Therefore pray to your Lord and make a sacrifice.

Surely your (Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him)enemy is the one who shall be without posterity.

Someone picked up the head of Hussain: "These lips that kissed The Prophet now kiss the dust."

"Sometimes you find requests are not immediately granted. Do not be disappointed. Fulfillment of desires rest in the true purpose or intention of the prayer. More often fulfillment is delayed because merciful Lord wants to bestow upon you suitable rewards. In the meantime bear patiently hardships, believing sincerely in His help. You will get better favours, because, unknowingly you may ask for things which are really harmful to you. Many of your requests, if granted, may bring eternal damnation. So at times, withholding fulfillment is a blessing in disguise."

Hi

Hi

I was always one of the fastest runners in whatever school I went to, hated long distance though.   I do recall my early days in school where we had a combined race though, so I came in first and this girl came in second followed by other guys.  So anyway, post the whole celebration and samosa distribution she gave me this look that had my inner chemical balances out of whack.  Only one of the two times that has ever happened to me.  Maybe I just have a thing for women who are into athletics and it is a bonus if are appreciative of the aesthetics of athletic expression etc.  Some men are very concious of their audience and feel overjoyed when such things are appreciated. I happen to be one of them.  Such women tend to be a minority though.  On second thought, she was just very pretty and had piercing eyes so maybe that was it.

"If I were a few years older, I'd definitely marry you"

- some 5 year old kid I met on the bus

Know that the life of this world is only a frolic and pastime, an ornamentation, boasting and bragging among yourselves and lust for multiplying wealth and children. It is like rain so pleasing to the cultivator for his vegetation which sprouts and swells and then withers and you see it turn to yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. There is severe punishment in the hereafter ( but also ) forgiveness from Allah, and (His) pleasure. As for the life of this world, it is no more than merchandise of illusion. (Quran 57:20)

Recently, after I had helped my friend get awesome points in Words With Friends, she told me I have "a beautiful soul and a beautiful face." And that whoever I end up marrying is a lucky man.

That was very sweet. Thank you Allah for hiding my many faults.
Err on the side of caution kindness.

Once I was walking downtown and a woman stopped me, looking shaken. She said the I look just like Mother Mary with the way I look and dress. Astaghfirullah that she could compare me to Hazrat Maryam (as). Needless to say I was very flattered to be likened to one of the greatest women to ever live.

I was playing a game with someone. I beat him like five times in a row and he was like, "You can do something the first time you try it. That means you're a true mu'minah."
"The best thing [about hijab] is that at night, when you're alone, you see your beautiful hair and beautiful body and know that Allah swt has blessed you with such beauty. And you feel proud of that beauty, it's all yours since you don't have to share it with anyone. But when you put on that hijab of Fatima Zahra and Zaynab sa, this beauty isn't yours. This beauty is theirs and it makes you feel elevated and honored. It makes me feel even more beautiful.

And when I observe my hijab, it makes me feel like the most courageous soldier on this Earth. To have the hijab of Zaynab!!! Dear Lord, it gives me power! No one can understand the energy running through my veins."

** still waiting for someone to say : i love you
:P

Actually the one i remember was : "man you ruled in that lecture!"
- First time i was giving a lecture in my class, was very nervous in front of all those girls; But subhananllah suddenly the jokes came out and i managed to turn a boring lecture (animal taxonomy) into a very fun one  Then i was told that everyone loved it and the professor came up and said: im truly surprised at this talent! I hope i see you as one of my colleagues soon  Teaching a class is my dream...
