i just all of a sudden made this decision to do so..i dont even know what brought me to it..but ever since that day i started wearing it, not once have i taken it off,, i just love it too much..
Me and my headscarves are TIGHT llooll...i couldnt live without them..
and im not talkin about the style of headscarves..im talking about the actual purpose of wearing it lol..
but also, there is no point in wearing a headscarf if your not ready...if your going to keep takin it off and then puttin it on again, there isnt no point,,
you gotta love it and understand why you wear it
Peace, Bless,, Salaam,,,

Probably about three or four months after I converted/reverted to Islam, and about five months after my 21st birthday, alhamdulillah.

"Faith has ten degrees like the steps of a ladder which are climbed one by one. If you find anyone below you by one step, pull him up to you gently and do not burden him with what he cannot bear, or else you will break him." Saying of Imam Ja'far Sadiq to Abdul-Aziz as reported in Light Within Me

I was an atheist then, and an odd one in the Company. When I joined, Tees and Jeans were regulation dress with me, but I changed to the Shalwar kameez which is still my staple dress.
To cut it short, I have been wearing the chaddar or double width dopatta for more than ten years now. I converted in late 2005.

To be honest, it was simply keeping up with the rest. The office had a culture, an unwritten dress code, and well, it was sensible to conform.
When I was given charge of certain things, I formalized many things; separate work-sections and dining rooms for men and women, written dress and behavior codes, minimizing inter-gender contact by maximizing intra-net capabilities and use, etc.
