(salam)

Sham-e-Ghareeba
(The night of the homeless)

Polishing the facet of my heart,
the ultimate cache of my love - ruptured,
its dimensions torn open,
ribboned with an unsung melody of despair.
O beloved - spare me words,
drive with me to the soaring of the soul ...
empty your tear buds,
outpour all hidden empathies,
supress this fire with your cries.
what the vision sees - haunts the mind;
every cracking of the flames,
harassing the little children,
as they plaster their fears with zainab's veil.
asghar's mother condensing her love,
in a single lullaby - the sun cradled by its harmony,
filtering its warmth on a little grave,
the dust and sands of kerbala,
embracing asghar, kissing his bruised neck.
the unfolding of the curtains of my eye,
as images of distress relay the malaise,
that rained upon the caravan - looted.
an impression drawn on my heart,
as I see a child fleeing from merciless enemy,
meeting death in sparks of fire,
choosing the heat of the flare to consolidate him -
O fire be gentle to these orphans,
for their bodies are feeble -
and their hearts pressed,
under the weight of affliction.
i am crushed - the sight too painful to behold,
the sky lamenting on this oppression,
its blood-tears obscuring my prospect,
yet - the cracking of fire is heard ....

Malika
Is there a vacant space for my tears,
where I could let them speak for me?

May Allah's curse be upon those who usurped the rights of the Ahl al Bayt

Sis Malika, as always beautiful poetry, BaarikAllah feek.

Imam Husain (a) replied to a man who said, 'Sit down so we can debate about religion' – 'I am aware of my religion, and my path is clear for me. So, if you are ignorant about your religion then go and seek it. What do I have to do with disputation? Indeed the devil tempts a person and calls him, saying, 'Debate with people regarding their religion so that they do not think of you as incapable and ignorant.'

Mashallah, indeed very beautiful..
May Allah's curse be upon those who usurped the rights of the Ahl al Bayt
O Allah! Include me among those who will help him, assist him, rally round him, and will, in no time, carry out his commands; and strictly follow his directions, out of love and reverance for him, and will try to overtake one another to serve his purpose and will pronounce the profession of faith in his presence. Dua Ahad

Incredible. Absolutely beautiful. The visuals are intense, the emotions are intense. It captures the emotions felt during this painful night. Each time I read it, my heart shatters...
May Allah bless you sis...I think this is one of your best pieces.
