Salam Alaikum,

Over the next few days, the ShiaChat.com development team will be undergoing a major reconstruction in both the staff involved and the tasks required in hopes of building a more efficient reliable team; this would mean that each development team member will have a certain task (or project) assigned to them and they will be the project/task leader whenever there is a need for such service or until the project is over.

With that being said, Shiachat.com will be looking for talented members in different aspects of web design, graphic design, writing, member services, advertising, security, php/sql database administration, scripting – you name it. Members will be able to view a posting for a position and then apply within.

Why are we doing this? The members of this site have provided us with an ocean of wonderful suggestions, with the limited talent we have on our administration team, these suggestions have often gone unnoticed – This will hopefully bring an end to this.

Postings for the positions will start as early as tonight and continue indeterminately. When you see a posting (in this forum), please read the instructions, requirements and procedures carefully to be considered. As a reminder, these are non-paid positions and are absolutely voluntary. Other than the rewards of a good deed, you'll be a part of the development team that have worked hard for the past decade to make this site what it is today – our home.

Stay tuned for the postings and thank you for your support as we undergo this reconstruction.

LOL. I think it's his job. Provides him with so much FREEdom.

The REAL job is done when he arrives home. Heaven probably makes him wash the dishes, clean the house, pray on time - typical Iraqi family  .

I noticed one area that an opening can be advertised for; events. Lately, I've noticed the events Forumn was not always up-to-date. Hopefully this will now be sorted!

This advertising position is a technical one, ie, Google searches, bot files, stats, etc.

i have some other talents for 3d graphic but only beginner. sample of my work for 3d:
lol i have some talents in visual basic but who cares that talent will not be needed here!

lol my english is not good so i just checked the dictionary for talent adn skill. so ya talent mean u r blessed with watever and skilled means ur learnt it. so ya my skills lol!

Guys, if you can't follow something as simple as a proper 2-step application process, don't even bother.  As I said before, this isn't how one applies.
