um, I saw devdas when i was babysitting my two year old cousin who says hindi hindi and actually makes film request.  it was stupid. that drinking song. good Lord, someone help that misguided shah ruk khan. that song the prostitute sings was good.

and I was taking a class on india last semester, we had to watch some of the old school films, and more of the recent independent, non bollywood ones like mr and mrs Iyer. I saw sholay, that is a classic. it's a great film, too.

devdas is cool too...its a bit more realistic..but shah rukh that dumbo is off track...he is losing it. sharab sharab and more sharab.
