About This Club

Anyone who has done research on religion and stumbled across Islam has surely seen the myths and rumors our Holy Prophet (sawws), his followers, and his religion have had to face. Even 1400 years after the Messenger of Allah's passing, these rumors are still mainstream over the media, and more than often they cause Muslims to lose faith in their religion, as they see a sick, dark painted picture drawn out because of these myths. In this club, we will prove these misconceptions false/explain/debunk them, using authentic sources from Muhammad and his pure progeny. (sawws)

  2. Asalam Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakattu, On this topic (only), we will be debunking (disproving) the slanders and attacks against our Holy Prophet (sawws) and his religion, where we will aim to rid these beliefs and false accusations once and for all. It is fairly simple, follow the format below. [Claim] - provide the accusation that an opposer of Islam would use against the religion, and if Quranic verses are needed, provide all of them necessary. [Refutation] - This can be as long as you need it to be. In here, explain step-by-step the refutation/why this claim isn't true. Provide sources from Quran or authentic books to support the answer. [Conclusion] Restate the myth/accusation and quickly summarize your response. Please try to post as many as you can! Wassalam.
  3. Many would say that Muslims hate Christians, that they are against them and hostile towards them. After just a little bit of reading, you will find this is completely false. Muslims are supposed to unite with fellow Monotheists. This is actually all over the Quran. A lot of Christians don't know the Muslim view of Jesus (a.s) and Mary (a.s), but in Islam these two figures are very much respected. The Quran has a whole chapter dedicated to Mary (a.s), or as we call her Mariam (a.s). [Quran 19: 16-34] - And mention in the Book (the Qur'an, O Muhammad , the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects. She said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah." (The angel) said: "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son." She said: "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?" He said: "So (it will be), your Lord said: 'That is easy for Me (Allah): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allah).' " So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place (i.e. Bethlehem valley about 4-6 miles from Jerusalem). And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She said: "Would that I had died before this, and had been forgotten and out of sight!" Then [the babe 'Iesa (Jesus) or Jibrael (Gabriel)] cried unto her from below her, saying: "Grieve not! Your Lord has provided a water stream under you; "And shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you." "So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: 'Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) so I shall not speak to any human being this day.'" Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing). "O sister (i.e. the like) of Harun (Aaron) [not the brother of Musa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman." Then she pointed to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?" "He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;" "And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live." "And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest. "And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!" Such is 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute). We find from this that Jesus and Mary (a.s) are very respected in the religion of Islam. What more, we also are of the belief that Jesus (a.s) will return to Earth with the uprising of the Mahdi (a.j.t.f.s), and pray behind him. A narration attributed to Jabir ibn Abd Allah reports: This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jabir Ibn Abdillah al-Ansari that the Messenger of Allah said: "A group among my Ummah will continue to fight for the truth until Jesus, the son of Marry, will descend, and the Imam of them will ask him to lead the prayer, but Jesus replies: "You have more right to it, and verily Allah has honored some of you over others in this Ummah." Source - Musnad by Abu Ya'la, Jalaluddin al-Suyuti. Nuzool Isa Ibn Maryam Akhir al-Zaman (in Arabic). p. 57. Further more, once a Christian came to the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (sawws) seeking his protection. Muhammad (sawws) response was, "This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them. Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them " Reccomend to read the short pdf here! http://www.ptwf.org/images/pdf/peace/Prophet Muhammads Promise to Christians.pdf As we can see, The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sawws) condemns hostility towards Christianity! They are like our brothers/sisters, and we must treat each other as how we treat our Muslim brothers/sisters. Our Quran highly praises Mary and her son Jesus (a.s) as very respectful figures. All people, including those of Christian world must know, that in our Islamic country, there is a lot of tolerance and respect for non-Muslims.
  4. Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. 60/8
